This begs the question of whether all games should have mods. Mod options are available however no MOD menu on game for PS4, latest version is installed and own hard copy. Bringing this love of mods to console is only going to bolster the community, and I feel like even more mods will be made as a result. The Snowrunner community is clearly the one exception to the rule.
I just can’t imagine a gaming community enjoying mods this much, but here we are.

Update for phase 6 everything still the same just a few small changes. First update for 2022 small changes to wheels options. and are in highway so console players can get to them faster. That’s crazy, considering that some of these mods will be built to be ridiculous. Update added custom Mud Snow Dually tires same ones from my XRH Diesel Truck mod. To top it all off, the average rating of a mod is 92 percent positive. Considering that there are around 20,000 daily mod downloads too, this is starting to look like the best way to play the game. Available on Epic, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. Over the year, that’s more than one thousand mods. SnowRunner is an off-road driving simulator that takes you to the extreme Siberian and American wilderness. I unsubscribed from all my mods, and now, if I try. When I tried to load my game, it said I needed to Uninstall mods because my RAM is not enough, despite the mod menu saying I have over 2000MB left for mods. The Phase 3 update just got released on console, and I wanted to test the new trucks. That might be because at least three new mods are uploaded each and every day on average. I love Snowrunner, it’s one of my favorite games. There have been more than 5 million mod downloads over the course of this game’s life.

The console modding scene for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are relatively. That’s about one third of the player base using mods, which is an astounding percentage. SnowRunner is coming to the Nintendo Switch in just a few weeks. For example, more than 30 percent of PC players use mods now. The thing about these that strikes me is just how relevant they are. To make the case for mods on console, the developers have put out some stats that show why you need them. However, as console shave gotten better, developers have been able to make them work in their console versions too. Traditionally, mods have been very much an affair for PCs only. It’s weirdly addictive, and once you’re done with what’s in the game, it’s got hundreds of mods for you to explore. It’s all about using various real world vehicles to solve issues in snowy environments, and you unlock more and more with each hour of gameplay. Snowrunner is one of those games that sneaks up on you.
